These are the only recommended lip balms from the Environmental Working Group- (ewg.org) a TRULY responsable not for profit organization. I would consider anything else to be either potentially dangerous, ineffective or both! Brands like Blistex, CVS, Neutrogena, Carmex, Cover Girl, Chapstick, etc stink and you should rid yourself of these brands and find the below mentioned instead. Pedicure Safety

Pedicures can be dangerous- spreading infections. Here's some safety tips that you should NOT forget:
  • Schedule one of the first appointments in the morning when tubs are cleanest. Or make sure your technician disinfects the tub before your pedicure.
  • Bring your own pedicure tools. Use separate tools for pedicures and manicures to prevent contamination between toes and fingers.
  • Skip shaving your legs before the appointment to help prevent bacteria from entering the skin.
